French Ligue 1 Table
The French Ligue 1 Table is a standings system that ranks the teams in France's top football division. The table is based on a points system, with three points awarded for a win, one point for a draw, and no points for a loss. At the end of each season, the team with the most points is crowned champion.
If two or more teams are tied for first place, then the championship is decided by a playoff system. The French Ligue 1 Table is made up of 20 teams. Each team plays 38 games over the course of a season - 19 home games and 19 away games.
The 2017-2018 season will be the 65th edition of the French Ligue 1 Table. The defending champions are AS Monaco, who won their 8th title last season.

Ligue 1 21/22
The 2020–21 Ligue 1 season, also known as Ligue 1 Uber Eats for sponsorship reasons, is the 84th season of the Ligue de Football Professionnel first-tier football league in France. The season started on 21 August 2020 and is scheduled to conclude on 23 May 2021. Paris Saint-Germain are the defending champions, having won their ninth consecutive title last season.
On 17 April 2020, the LFP announced that the 2019–20 season would resume on 17 June 2020 and end on 24 July 2020. This was due to the COVID-19 pandemic in France which caused the suspension of professional football matches in France since 12 March 2020. On 28 April 2020, it was announced that if Paris Saint-Germain were declared champions after 27 rounds of matches, then the 28th round would be cancelled and there would be no relegation this season.
On 30 April 2020, it was announced that Lyon's president Jean-Michel Aulas had reached an agreement with other club presidents to end the 2019–20 season immediately and declare PSG champions. However, this proposal was rejected by the French government on 2 May 2020. Two days later, Aulas retracted his previous statement and said that he now agreed with finishing the season behind closed doors following a meeting with Prime Minister Édouard Philippe.
On 15 May 2020, it was confirmed that Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 seasons would not resume, after French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe banned all sporting events until September amid concerns over a second wave of COVID-19 infections in France. As a result, PSG were declared champions for a second consecutive year without kicking another ball; they finished 12 points clear at the top of the table with 61 points from 27 games played (W18 D3 L6). Rennes finished in second place for successive seasons (their best ever finish) whilst third place went to Marseille – their first podium finish since 2013 (and only their fifth since winning their last league title back in 1992).
