Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
Josh Allen is the 2022 preseason MVP favorite for the Buffalo Bills. In the previous two seasons, he’s averaged 4,500 throwing yards, 37 touchdowns, and 1,200 running yards, 14 touchdowns. Allen seems like an excellent early-round Fantasy choice with Buffalo’s offense possibly improving.
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
With Tyreek Hill in Miami, Mahomes is unlikely to replicate his MVP season’s 50 touchdown throws. Even with new receivers, a 4,500-yard, 35-touchdown season seems like the floor for the Chiefs QB, who has guided his club to the AFC Championship Game in all four years as the main starter.
Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans
After an injury-plagued 2021, Lamar Jackson is playing for a new long-term contract. When healthy, the 2019 MVP will gallop for over 1,000 yards, but his touchdown throws have decreased from 36 to 26 to 16. A 30+ TD season could make him one of the greatest Fantasy QBs in 2022.

Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams
Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams: Kupp has 145 receptions, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdowns. Sean McVay’s scheme and a quarterback who likes to target his top receiver help him. Even Kupp’s decline may put him first. Kupp would have been the top wide receiver even with five fewer touchdowns.
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
In 2020, Justin Jefferson established the rookie record for receiving yards, then in 2021, he set the record for most yards in a player’s first two seasons.
The former LSU Tiger set more records and milestones in a run-first offense. New Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell should offer more balance, giving Jefferson more playing time.
Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals surpassed Jefferson’s rookie record in 2021. Few QB-WR duos can equal his and Joe Burrow’s chemistry on the field.
Many forget that Chase pulled out of the 2020 season, thus he was still getting into a rhythm last year. In the playoffs, he gained 368 yards, the most ever by a rookie in a single postseason.
